The XRD 0822 Flat Panel X-ray Detectors (FPDs) are PerkinElmer’s 8-inch (20 cm) field of view amorphous silicon (a-Si) FPDs.
Two models of the XRD 0822 X-ray FPDs are available: The XRD 0822 AO is a 14-bit detector which provides over 78 dB of dynamic range and frame rates up to 30 frames per second (fps). The enhanced performance XRD 0822 AP provides an industry leading 16-bit contrast resolution and offers over 88 dB of dynamic range and frame rates up to 100 fps via several read-out modes. Both detectors support a broad range of energy levels from 60 kV to15 MV and are available with several shielding and scintillator options. A carbon fiber entrance window supports an extended energy range of 20 kV–15 MV.
Rapid system integration is accomplished via Gigabit Ethernet data communication, integrated trigger and sync circuitry for X-ray control and a comprehensive software library for image acquisition and processing.
